Program
Griffith Nursing aims to be a global leader in education and research scholarship in nursing and midwifery. Specifically, the School of Nursing and Midwifery would like to be recognized for
- developing person-centred, clinically competent, critical thinking, research informed graduates who provide safe, quality, compassionate care in an ever-changing health care environment;
- developing and delivering innovative, flexible evidence-based education that prepares graduates to be lifelong learners to address professional challenges in a wide range of health care settings locally, nationally or internationally; and
- fostering and developing the capacity of nursing and midwifery academics to have impact on the health outcomes of individuals, families and communities in their given research fields.
As a Griffith University nursing student, you will develop your skills through clinical placements across the health sector and will have opportunities to undertake rural, remote and overseas placements.
Clinical placements are an integral component of the Bachelor of Nursing that allows you to link theory to practice in a meaningful way.
Admission Requirements
Completed high school diploma
You must have a high school diploma with a minimum average of 55%. Ontario students will be assessed on their top 6 subjects, while assessment will be based on a cumulative average for other Canadian provinces.
Admission Timeline
*While there is no set application deadline, applicants are strongly encouraged by the university to submit their applications a minimum of three months prior to the program start date.
